Studio 1.17 Paintworks

The reconfiguration and fit-out of a ‘live/work’ unit in the converted warehouses at Paintworks, creating a flexible open-plan studio with gallery style deck above. A new services pod with toilets and kitchenette, and a shared meeting space alongside allows multiple options for how the studio is occupied.

The additional elements such as the external storm porch and the central spiral staircase were carefully designed in a robust industrial style to complement the nature and character of the original building shell.
